It seems like this generation of people are more nostalgic in dress, customs, and even gifts. The economy has taken us up in the attic and down in the basement looking for ‘precious junk’ and actually finding what we are looking for. Memories more and more are what we are finding ourselves clinging to. We look for memories when we want to find a gift for Mom’s birthday or a really unique wedding gift. We seem to gravitate to something that we can’t buy in a big box store or a department store because there is no meaning to what we find that is affordable.
While looking through family photographs, we came across many that brought back old memories that we wanted to capture so we developed photo ornaments that were not only Christmas ornaments but vintage Christmas ornaments, vintage school photo ornaments and even family reunion and birthday photo ornaments. These have become very popular as we all seem to want to reminisce about our childhood friends, family and celebrations. On the left you will see the photos of my Mom and Dad in their high school senior pictures in 1930. The black and white photo ornaments are truly vintage.
